Three steps from enquiry to delivery
Brief
Tell me what you’re working on — the project type, stage, and what you need. No lengthy forms.
Scoped
I review your EIR or requirements, clarify scope, and confirm the deliverable, timeline, and fee.
Delivered
You receive a compliant, ready-to-use output — with a walkthrough and revision window included.
Get your information management right — from the start
The problem
Firms know they need to manage information properly but don’t know where to start. The CDE exists but nobody uses it properly. Information requirements are copy-pasted from the last project and don’t reflect what’s actually needed. Naming conventions are inconsistent, reporting is manual, and the supply chain has no clear guidance on what to deliver or how.
The solution
I design the information management framework end-to-end — CDE workflows, naming conventions, data governance, reporting structures, supply chain information requirements, and capability assessment processes. The emphasis is practical adoption across live teams, not documentation that sits in a folder.
What’s included
Strategy, setup, and adoption support.
- IM strategy & framework design
- CDE platform selection and workflow configuration
- Naming convention and classification systems
- Information requirements authoring (EIR, OIR, AIR)
- Supply chain capability assessment (ISO 19650-2 Cl.5.3)
- Reporting and KPI dashboards
- Training and adoption support
Outcome
A system that people actually use — not a document that sits in a folder. Clear processes, consistent naming, functional reporting, and a supply chain that knows what to deliver across complex live programmes.
BEPs that respond to the EIR. EIRs the supply chain can deliver against.
The problem
BEPs take weeks, start from blank templates, and miss half the EIR requirements. EIRs are vague, inconsistent, or copy-pasted. The gap between what the client asks and what the supply chain delivers starts here — and it compounds through every stage of the project.
The solution
I produce compliant, EIR-aligned BEPs in days using Capsar.io — technology that reads the EIR and helps draft the response. For client-side teams, I draft or review EIRs so the supply chain can respond more clearly, drawing on experience authoring ISO 19650 information requirements for major client portfolios.
BEP production
Everything needed for a submission-ready response.
- EIR analysis and requirement extraction
- 14-section ISO 19650-2 BEP
- EIR Responsiveness Matrix (gap analysis)
- TIDP/MIDP framework
- PDF + editable DOCX deliverable
EIR advisory
Support for clearer, more usable client requirements.
- EIR drafting or quality review
- OIR alignment
- Recommendations report
- Supply chain readiness brief
Outcome
BEPs that respond to the EIR and win the work. EIRs that the supply chain can actually deliver against. The gap between requirements and response closes here — before it becomes a delivery problem on site.
The full IM ecosystem — set up and actually adopted
The problem
Large programmes — infrastructure, portfolios, frameworks — need someone who can set up and run digital delivery across the supply chain. Not just write a BEP, but build the whole system: standards, governance, tooling, training, compliance monitoring. Most firms hire consultants who produce documents. The programme needs someone who makes it work.
The solution
I embed as a digital delivery lead or advisor, setting up the full information management ecosystem and helping teams adopt it in practice. From ISO 19650 implementation to CDE governance to supply chain onboarding — the whole system, not just the paperwork.
What’s included
Governance, controls, and adoption across live teams.
- Digital delivery strategy and roadmap
- ISO 19650 implementation across the programme
- CDE governance and access control
- TIDP/MIDP management and delivery tracking
- Document control and compliance monitoring
- Supply chain onboarding and training
- Data-driven reporting and decision support
- Process automation and tooling integration
Outcome
A programme where information flows properly, teams know what to deliver and when, and leadership has visibility. Not just compliance — actual operational value from your information, training, and delivery controls.
Common questions
How quickly can you deliver a BEP?
Pre-appointment BEPs are typically delivered in 5–7 working days from receipt of the EIR and project information. Post-appointment BEPs take slightly longer due to the additional sections required (TIDP/MIDP, detailed execution plans). Complex or multi-volume EIRs may need an extended timeline — confirmed at scoping.
Do you work with firms outside the UK?
Yes. All engagements are delivered remotely. Clients are typically based in the UK, but ISO 19650 work is relevant globally and I’ve supported teams across Europe and the Middle East. Time zones are manageable with clear briefing and async communication.
What’s the difference between a pre- and post-appointment BEP?
A pre-appointment BEP is submitted at tender stage — it demonstrates your capability and approach before the contract is awarded. A post-appointment BEP builds on this: it’s developed after contract award with the full project team, confirming the detailed execution plan, TIDP/MIDP, and supply chain responsibilities.
Can you review a BEP we’ve already written?
Yes — BEP review and gap analysis is available as a standalone engagement. I assess your document against the EIR requirements and ISO 19650-2 and provide a structured recommendations report. This is priced separately; get in touch with your EIR and current draft for a quote.
Do you offer retained advisory or ongoing support?
Yes. For programmes that need ongoing IM oversight or periodic review, a retained arrangement can be structured — typically a set number of days per month at the day rate. This works well for clients who need consistent advisory without a full-time hire.
What’s Capsar.io and how does it relate to these services?
Capsar.io is a technology tool I built to read EIRs and assist in drafting BEP responses — it’s what makes fast, high-quality BEP production possible. It’s used in-house on BEP & EIR production engagements, and is also available as a standalone product for firms who want to produce their own BEPs faster.
