Ways to work together

Ten years of delivery, and the ability to ship the fix.

Digital transformation stalls in the same place every time. The problem is already understood by the people living with it; what is missing is someone who can specify the fix precisely and then actually build it. That is the whole offer.

Available now for contract, interim and permanent roles in information management and digital delivery. Based in London, remote across the UK and Europe.

Four ways in

Every engagement is scoped on the deliverable rather than the hour, and starts with a conversation about what is actually going wrong.

Information management & strategy

The CDE exists but nobody uses it properly. Requirements are copy-pasted from the last job. Naming is inconsistent and reporting is manual. This fixes the framework rather than the symptoms.

Ongoing or fixed scope
Scoped on enquiry.
  • CDE workflow and governance design
  • Naming conventions and data standards people will actually follow
  • Reporting structures and supply-chain information requirements
  • Capability assessment and adoption support across live teams

BEP & EIR production

BEPs take weeks, start from a blank template, and miss half the EIR. EIRs come back vague enough that the supply chain cannot price them. The gap between the two compounds through every stage.

Per document pre- or post-appointment
Scoped on enquiry.
  • Compliant, EIR-aligned BEPs without starting from blank
  • EIR drafting and review for client-side teams
  • Drafted with Capsar.io, so requirements stay traceable
  • A walkthrough and a revision window included

Programme digital delivery

For programmes that need the capability in the room rather than in a report — embedded delivery leadership, or a retained advisor the team can escalate to.

Embedded or retained
Scoped to programme needs.
  • Embedded information management leadership
  • Retained advisory for in-house teams
  • Supply-chain readiness and assurance
  • Training — over 500 professionals to date

BEPs and EIRs are drafted in software I built

Capsar.io is the tool behind the document work — requirements stay traceable from the EIR into the BEP instead of being rekeyed between two Word files. You get the document; the platform is how it gets made.

What I get called in for

Ten years inside programmes at Foster + Partners, Turner & Townsend and Heathrow. The engagements below carry no logos — yours would not be on this page either.

National infrastructure programme

Digital delivery framework built from scratch across a multi-party programme — CDE governance, information standards, and the assurance process holding them together. It kept holding once I was no longer in the room.

Tier 1 contractor bid

BEP production against a live tender deadline, aligned to a demanding EIR. The bid team got a submission-ready package, not a template they still had to finish.

EIR review & supply-chain readiness

Client-side EIR rewritten so the supply chain could actually respond to it, then a readiness assessment of the parties responding. The gap closed before appointment rather than after it.

CDE governance & reporting

A regional contractor with a CDE nobody trusted. Workflows, naming and automated reporting rebuilt around how the team actually worked, then adopted rather than mandated.

A framework nobody follows is a document, not a framework. The measure is whether the team still works that way once I have left.

Three steps from enquiry to delivery

No lengthy forms, no discovery theatre, and no proposal that takes a fortnight to arrive.

01

Brief

Tell me what you are working on — project type, stage, and what is actually hurting. Thirty minutes on a call is usually enough to know whether I am the right person.

02

Scoped

I review your EIR, requirements or workflow, clarify the scope, and confirm the deliverable and the timeline in writing before anything starts.

03

Delivered

You get a working output — document, framework, or running software — with a walkthrough and a revision window. Where it is code, you get the repository.

Score the document you already have

Both run in your browser, score in minutes and export a report. Neither requires an email address, and either one makes the first call sharper.

Before you book

Do you work outside the UK?

Yes. I am London-based and work across the UK and EU, remotely by default, on site where the work genuinely needs presence. I work in English and Italian.

Why do these engagements have no price?

Because the same job title covers a two-day review and a six-month programme. Rates depend on scope, urgency and depth of rollout — you get a number in writing after the first call, before any commitment. The one price published on this site is for software, not for my time: the Capsar tender evaluation pack scores every bid in a single procurement, a job with a fixed boundary. A BEP or an EIR written for you is a different job, and it is not priced like that one.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Sprint work ships with the source code and a handover. Nothing is locked to a platform you have to keep paying me for.

Is this just AI hype?

Judge it from the work. Fourteen products are on the Builds page — specify tightly, let agents do the volume, gate everything behind tests. The code is private, but ask and you can read it and argue with it.

Thirty minutes is usually enough to tell.

Bring the problem, not a brief. If I am not the right person for it, I will say so on the call and point you at someone who is.
