Before you start
What is an EIR?
Exchange Information Requirements are the appointing party’s brief: what information is needed, in what form, to what level of information need, and at which points in the project. ISO 19650-2 makes them the thing the supply chain’s BEP has to answer.
Who should run this?
Whoever is about to issue an EIR, or has just received one. Client-side, it finds the ambiguities that come back as clarification cycles. Supply-side, it tells you which questions to ask before you price the work.
Why 0–3 instead of a tick?
Because the failure mode is not omission, it is vagueness. Nearly every EIR mentions a CDE and a level of information need; the ones that cost money mention them without saying which, or when, or to whom. A tick box cannot tell those apart.
Where do my answers go?
Nowhere, unless you ask them to. The score, the report and the PDF are all generated on your own machine, and your answers are saved in this browser so you can close the tab and come back to a half-rated EIR — they stay on your device and never reach me. Reset all answers clears them for good. The one exception is the optional email field under the report: use it and I receive your address and the summary on screen, never the answers behind it.
