Before you start
What is a BEP?
The BIM Execution Plan is the supplier’s answer to the client’s EIR: how the appointed party will actually deliver the information asked for — standards, methods, roles, the CDE, and the schedule the TIDPs and MIDP hang off. ISO 19650-2 puts it at the centre of the appointment.
Pre-appointment or delivery?
Both, and the checklist asks which before it scores you. A pre-appointment BEP is a proposal and is judged on intent and capability; a delivery BEP is the plan you are held to. The same section can be strong in one and thin in the other.
Does a good score mean the BEP is compliant?
No. It means the 35 things reviewers most often ask for are present and you could evidence them. Compliance is judged against your appointment and your client’s EIR, which no generic checklist can read.
Where do my answers go?
Nowhere, unless you ask them to. The score, the report and the PDF are all generated on your own machine, and your answers are saved in this browser so you can close the tab and come back to a half-finished sheet — they stay on your device and never reach me. Reset all answers clears them for good. The one exception is the optional email field under the report: use it and I receive your address and the summary on screen, never the answers behind it.
